One-way tour. We do it only two times in a year, in May we ride Sochi => Elbrus => Moscow and in September vice versa, Moscow => Elbrus => Sochi. Don’t miss your chance to ride one of the best tours you can have in Russia. Route: where we will go

Sochi – Adygea – Dombay – Elbrus – Stavropol – Volgodonsk – Veshenskaya – Skornyakovo – Moscow (and vice versa for the September tour)

Day 1. Sochi arrival

Upon arrival there will be transfer to the hotel (Krasnya Polyana, slightly in the mountains but near Sochi city) where after a short rest we will have welcome meeting, kick off and dinner. You will receive bikes and meet with other members of our journey. In the evening we will have Russian sauna/banya in the mountains.

Day 2. Sochi, city tour

Today we have a Sochi city tour. There are parks and palaces, old Stalin residence, city beach, botanic garden, Olympic Park and many other interesting places to see.

Day 3. Sochi – Adygea, 360 km

After breakfast we leave towards the Lago-Naki plateau, which is located on the height of approx. 2 km. This is a fantastic place which is mostly famous for its flowering meadows. We will stay in Dachovskaya Sloboda village and in the evening we will also have a walk to Azischskaya Cave.

Day 4. Adygea – Dombay, 350 km

Beautiful road to the Dombay resort, which is famous for its unique Teberdinsky natural park. Plateaus, waterfall, tasty local cuisine, natural parks and lakes. We will stay in the former USSR government hotel, which has just recently become opened for visiting.

Day 5. Dombay – Elbrus, 380 km

Elbrus is the highest mountain in Europe, one of the top 7 world peaks. Today it’s a renovated all year round resort with well-developed infrastructure and good roads. Here we’ll stay for two nights in the eco-spa hotel with fantastic views and spa right there.

Day 6. Elbrus, rest day

In the morning we visit spa, and after lunch we go up by the cabins to the peak of 3850 meters. We will take photos on the top and drink tea there. In the evening there is a free time.

Day 7. Elbrus – Stavropol, 360 km

Today we start our way back to Moscow. This day you will see mainly steppes and vast fields of wheat, corn, sunflowers, etc. Stavropol region is an agricultural one. We stay in its capital and walk around the city center in the evening.

Day 8. Stavropol – Volgodonsk, 350 km

Today we are going to reach Volgodonsk – city located on the banks of the big water reserve.  There are many opportunities for fishing and doing boat tours here. Plus, Volgodonsk is a nice small town with cozy city center.

Day 9. Volgodonsk – Veshenskaya, 320 km

There are two main highways that most people use while travelling from Moscow to the South. We will avoid highways and ride through small towns and villages, along rivers and forests. You will see how local people live, we make stops at old monasteries and farms, for a night we stay in a hotel on the banks of the Don river near the forest. Fishing is available upon request.

Day 10. Veshenskaya – Skornyakovo, 630 km

One more day we ride through forests and agricultural regions of Russia. For a night we stay in reconstructed residence of 18th century.

Day 11. Skornyakovo – Moscow, 440 km

Our last riding day. More secondary roads; a stop in the historical museum devoted to a large battle of the 14th century with old armories and weapons. In Moscow we make a stop at Red Square to take a photo and then go to the hotel. After check-in we meet during the dinner.  

Day 12. Moscow, rest day

A city tour with local guide. You will see Kremlin, Red Square, metro, Arbat Street and other places of interest.
